My small basement/apartment/prison cell is pretty much fixed. I have a
small kitchen, a small bathroom, a living room and a bedroom.
I still have 5 cardboard boxes unpacked and while browsing the contents
of the box marked "books and cds", I came over a deathcab album I
purchased on my first flight here.
Early cassette recordings from 1997 re-released on cd, with the wonderful cover of the smith's *this charming man*.
Walking to work 7am sunday morning turned to a pleasant experience.
I think maybe it's because im filipino, but I just love television. And
I am seriously looking forward to watch next weeks ep of House MD. I
mean, how the hell are they gonna explain the scientifical process of
"seeing dead people" ?
Before I start, i'll just let you know that Norway is a beautiful
country, and one of the greatest countries in the world. We have lot's
of money and we are fucking beautiful.
With that been said, I have to just complain about the one thing I hate
about this country. The game hunting culture. We shoot, we kill, we
score.
Recently in the news, a 55 year old man and his dog were found
dismembered by a bear, yea, he was moose hunting, i guess he was pretty
unlucky. Lately, related cases have been popping up the media,
like this other man who told about his story, on how he survived a bear biting his head. He was also out hunting with his dog.
Now, I'm not saying that the 55 year old and his dog deserved to die,
or that man who survived deserved whatever happened to him. And I'm not
saying that it is part of the hunting game to encounter dangerous man
hating bears, but I just want to say please,
please, just because you have a gun doesn't mean you can take on a bear. So please,
don't try to shoot it like the 55 year old guy did, and the man who got
his head bit off. You have a cell phone, Call animal control!
